Legendary reggae veterans, Toots and The Maytals unveiled their first ever acoustic album in the summer of 2012 through Metropolis, to coincide with the 50th anniversary of Jamaican Independence Day.

The Grammy Award nominated album –‘Unplugged on Strawberry Hill’, showcased an intimate and soulful take on their revered classics.

Working across press, radio and online, we built on Toots and The Maytals’ already respected and celebrated music career, and we were able to secure coverage in a range of music publications and national broadsheets.

Their album was reviewed by The Independent,Clash, The Daily Telegraph, Record Collector and Metro as well as Echoes, who labelled it their‘album of the month’. Features of the band were seen in Mojo, The Daily Star, Q, Music Week and the charismatic band were also featured in a double page interview in the Evening Standard.
